1. Who We Are

gblii.com is owned and operated by Nooded Technologies LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company based in Farmington, CT. References to "gblii," "we," "us," or "our" mean Nooded Technologies LLC.

2. What gblii Is — and Is Not

gblii.com is a neighborhood bulletin board and introduction service only. We provide a platform for:

Homeowners to signal interest in a shared home improvement project
Contractors to post general group pricing information
Neighbors and contractors to find each other

gblii is not:

A contractor or home improvement company
A mediator, coordinator, or project manager
A party to any contract between you and a contractor
An employer of any contractor listed on the platform
A guarantor of any work, price, or outcome

We do not handle, hold, escrow, or process any payments. All financial transactions are strictly between you and the contractor.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using gblii.com — including signing up as a buyer, posting a rate card as a seller, or asking a question on the platform — you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

4. Contractor Vetting — None Provided

We do not vet, screen, verify, endorse, recommend, or guarantee any contractor listed on gblii.com. We do not verify:

Contractor license or registration status
Insurance coverage
Quality of past work
Criminal background
Business legitimacy
Accuracy of pricing information

Before hiring any contractor, you are solely responsible for verifying their credentials. In Connecticut, verify any contractor's Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registration at ct.gov before signing any contract or making any payment. International users should verify credentials with the relevant local authority in their jurisdiction.

5. Rate Cards Are Not Binding Quotes

Rate cards posted by contractors on gblii.com are starting price indications only, not binding quotes or offers. Actual pricing is subject to on-site inspection, scope of work, materials, and individual negotiation between you and the contractor. gblii takes no responsibility for any discrepancy between a posted rate card and a final contract price.

6. Your Responsibilities as a Buyer

Verify contractor credentials before hiring
Sign your own contract directly with the contractor
Make all payments directly to the contractor
Perform your own due diligence on pricing and scope
Resolve any disputes directly with the contractor
Provide accurate information when signing up

7. Your Responsibilities as a Seller

Maintain all required licenses, registrations, and insurance
Post only accurate pricing information
Contract directly with each homeowner
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
You are individually and solely responsible for all work performed
gblii.com is not a party to your contracts and accepts no liability for disputes

8. Pool Coordinators (Lead Role)

Users who volunteer to take a "lead" or coordinator role within a pool do so as individual volunteers only. A pool coordinator:

Is not an agent, employee, or representative of gblii.com or Nooded Technologies LLC
Makes no commitments on behalf of other pool members
Is individually responsible for any communications or agreements they enter into with sellers
Has no authority to bind other pool members to any contract or obligation

gblii.com accepts no liability for any outcomes arising from a user's role as a pool coordinator.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

GBLII.COM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. NOODED TECHNOLOGIES LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT POSTED BY USERS ON THE PLATFORM.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NOODED TECHNOLOGIES LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM WORK PERFORMED BY A CONTRACTOR FOUND THROUGH THIS PLATFORM, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF NOODED TECHNOLOGIES LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of gblii.com shall not exceed zero dollars ($0), as this is a free service and no fees are collected.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nooded Technologies LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of gblii.com; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any contract or dispute between you and a contractor; or (d) your role as a pool coordinator.

12. Privacy & Data

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide: your email address, postal code, and the home improvement job you are interested in. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Your contact information is shared only with a contractor after you explicitly accept their bid. Contractors receive only your email address and postal code — no name, address, or other personal details.

Location is detected from your IP address to show nearby pools. This is not stored permanently.

We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver transactional emails. We use DigitalOcean to host our infrastructure. Both are US-based services.

13. User Content

Questions posted in the Q&A section are public and anonymous. Do not post personal information, contact details, or anything you would not want publicly visible. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion without notice.

14. Prohibited Uses

You may not use gblii.com to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Spam, solicit, or harass other users
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Interfere with the operation of the platform
Scrape or harvest user data

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to gblii.com at any time, for any reason, without notice. We may also remove any listing, rate card, or question at our discretion. Sections 8 through 13 of these Terms survive any termination.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of gblii.com shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.

International users acknowledge that gblii.com is operated from the United States and that their use of the service is subject to US law.
